Every year, the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Ideals and Values of Islam" is held in the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The conference is organized by the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia, the Russian Islamic University of the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia, with the support of the Foundation for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science, and Education, as well as the Council for State-Religious Relations under the Head of Bashkortostan. The forum is held with the participation of the Federation of Universities of the Islamic World and the Islamic Organization for Education, Science, and Culture (ISESCO).

The event brings together approximately 500 participants. Among them: government officials, theological scholars, historians, Islamic scholars, theologians, representatives of scientific and educational organizations, university teachers and students, religious and public figures from more than 30 subjects of the Russian Federation, countries near and far abroad (Morocco, Bahrain, Palestine, Tunisia, Turkey, India, Jordan, Iraq, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and other).

The purpose of the conference is to develop proposals aimed at strengthening spiritual and moral values, interreligious and interethnic peace and harmony, and developing the creative potential of the Muslim Ummah in Russia and the Eurasian region.
